This holiday home with private pool is situated on a slight hill above the beautiful Chiana Valley, about 2 km from Rigutino, surrounded by olive groves. On the fully fenced property you have exclusive use of the secure pool area - saltwater pool; also covered terraces (3) with barbecue, table tennis and table football. Gated entrance shared with the owner, who lives in the outbuilding on the property. A place to relax, but also for hiking and biking, for example in the nearby Lignano Nature Park (2 km). For bikers, there is the central cycle path in the Chiana Valley, which leads from Arezzo to the Etruscan town of Chiusi. Visit Arezzo (15km) with its picturesque historic centre, the unique Piazza Grande and the frescoes by Piero della Francesca in the church of San Francesco; a special attraction is the large antiques market on the first weekend of every month and the Saraceno equestrian games, which take place in the piazza in summer. Or the picturesque Etruscan town of Cortona, which has dominated the valley for thousands of years and is only 20 kilometres away. Wine tasting in the medieval town of Montepulciano (40km) is a must and the charming Renaissance town of Pienza (45km) with breathtaking views over the Orcia Valley (45km) will remain a vivid memory. In half an hour's drive you can reach Lake Trasimeno with its sandy beaches and small islands (35km). Also within an hour's drive: Siena with the most beautiful square in the world, the "Campo" (80km) and the Umbrian capital Perugia (70km). And right next door to discover: Castiglion Fiorentino (7km) with its medieval castle, nice shops, supermarket, restaurants, bars and a colourful weekly market. Unpaved access road.

    “Sauberkeit, insbesondere der Küchenutensilien, war nicht gut. So haben wir nicht wie geplant, dort gekocht, sondern sind jeden Tag essen gegangen. Das hat die Kosten natürlich deutlich erhöht.
    Man muss auch wissen, dass man sich nicht nur die Toreinfahrt mit dem Besitzer teilt, sondern auch einen Teil der Terrasse. Die Terrasse der Besitzer hat einen direkten Blick auf den Pool. Das war etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig und ging so aus der Beschreibung für uns nicht hervor.
    Wir wurden auch nicht wie angegeben, vom Treffpunkt abgeholt, weil der Besitzer nicht erreichbar war, sondern mussten den Weg selbst finden.
    Außerdem waren die Betten nicht gut. Die Aufbettung war ein sehr klappriges Sofa - für zwei relativ große Menschen doch etwas wackelig. Das große Ehebett hatte eine tiefe Kuhle in der Mitte.
    Ansonsten ist es ein geräumiges Haus für vier Personen mit schönem Blick und schönem Pool. Allerdings aufgrund der genannten Einschränkungen deutlich zu teuer.

    “Interieur: bedden uitstekend! Keukeninventaris rommelig en niet compleet (geen theepot, geen koffiezetapparaat, wel italiaans koffiezetpotje). Meer dan voldoende servies en bestek maar wel opgeslagen in 3 verschillende kasten.
    Sanitair prima. Buitenmeubilair ruim voldoende. Helaas 1 parasol (van de 2 ) kapot.
    Zowel huis als buitenomgeving en zwembad goed schoon.

    Helaas 1 gehele dag geen electriciteit en geen water. Contactpersoon deed goed zijn best om het op te lossen en het leed te verzachten. Koste ons wel een dag omdat we niet van huis konden. Tevens konden we 2 dagen (zonder bericht vooraf) tussen 9.00 en 18.00 uur het huis niet verlaten omdat de verharde toegangsweg werd geasfalteerd. Dit had gecommuniceerd moeten worden!!!!!!!!!

    Het huis voldeed verder goed aan de verwachtingen en is een prima plek voor 2 gezinnen die gezamelijk een vakantie rondom het huis met zwembad willen vieren.”
