The medieval Hamm Castle lies idyllically surrounded by the Prüm River and forests on a ridge above the small village of Hamm. - As a branch office of the registry office of the Bitburger Land municipality, it is a wonderful place to get married.
The vacation apartments of the castle, partly furnished with modern, partly with antique furniture, can be booked from two nights. They are located in a side wing of the fortification and are accessible from the castle courtyard. Both apartments are equipped with TV, radio, CD player and telephone, coffee maker, stove with oven and other necessary kitchen utensils such as pots, pans, plates, glasses, cutlery and dish towels. Bed linen and towels are ready for you.
You can park your car in the immediate vicinity of the apartment. The spacious castle courtyard offers good children's play and barbecue facilities.
You can use the course of the field archers in our forest, where the world championship was held in the summer of 1999, free of charge.
Signposted hiking trails start nearby and lead through a large protected area in the Eifel, the Southern Eifel Nature Park, the oldest nature park in Rhineland-Palatinate.
The Bitburg reservoir, which is a 15-minute walk away, attracts with its clear Eifel water, on which you can go pedal boating.

The forester's apartment (approx. 100 m²) is suitable for up to 8 people, has three bedrooms with two beds each, in addition two extra beds can be set up in the living room. One of the bedrooms can be completely darkened. The apartment has two bathrooms, one of them with a bathtub. In the living room there is a tiled stove.
