You are here at a good starting point for nice excursions: visit the museum in Egholm Castle with firearms from the 17th century and up to World War II. Drive to Roskilde and admire the beautiful cathedral and the museum of Viking ships, or visit Orø. The area also has many farm stores where you can buy fresh local produce.
