A lovely cottage with a large terrace and great views of the Skåneviksfjord. Not far away is the fjord with good swimming and fishing opportunities in pretty natural surroundings. Here you can fish from the shore or from the boat, and after only a short walk you reach the fishing spot. The area is popular with recreational anglers because of its many good fishing spots. Hikers will also enjoy the area; there are good hiking opportunities through hilly terrain, through forest and valley and also to the mountain top Borgundnuten, which offers a fantastic view over the surrounding fjords and mountains. Take the ferry westward to Stord, where you'll find stores, a golf course and the Sunnhordland Museum. The ferry eastward will take you to Kvinnherad, where you can visit the barony of Rosendal, Folgefonnsenteret and the glacier Bondhusbreen, and continue to follow the Norwegian Landscape Route along the Hardangerfjord. Day trips to Haugesund and Bergen are also recommended.
