Detached thatched house on a large site in quiet surroundings

The house is in a little part of a village with six houses, of which three are thatched, surrounded by meadows and fields. An extensive nature reserve area with meadows and canals starts behind the house.

The house provides around 140m² of living space and can accommodate up to 8 people. The kitchen is fully-equipped, including a dishwasher. There are four bedrooms, as well as a 34m² living room. The rooms are tastefully and functionally furnished. New fine oak parquet flooring complements the existing pine floorboards. The bedrooms are furnished with double beds consisting of single beds, while the children’s rooms have single beds and pull-out beds. There are two additional toddler beds. The layout of the house is also suitable for two families with children or for a family with grandparents. The bathroom has a bath, washbasin and a WC and there is also another separate WC with a washbasin. There is also a new bathroom with a shower and washbasin. Internet access is available free of charge throughout the house and garden.

The house stands detached in a quiet location on a 2000m² site with a barn. The large front garden is fenced and therefore also suitable for children and dogs. The rear garden has a swing and a sandpit and plenty of space to play and trill. Garden furniture and garden loungers are provided.

Parts of the thatched house are more than 200 years old. It was fully renovated in 1995, 2007 and 2017/18.

It is about 10km to the sea with a sandy beach. You can drive to several seaside and spa towns on the Baltic Sea coast such as Dahme or Grömitz in quarter of an hour.

    “Sehr schönes Haus, viel Platz, auch drum herum. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Beleuchtung ist zum Lesen nicht optimal. Guter Standort für die Ostseebäder.”

    “Die geschmackvolle und dabei funktionale Einrichtung des ehemaligen Bauernhauses, das sehr geräumig ist, ist besonders für Familien mit Kindern geeignet. Wir genossen die Ortsrandlage mit ihrer Stille und den vielfältigen Naturgeräuschen, die gleichzeitig die Möglichkeit zum lautstarken Fußballspiel im weitläufigen naturnahen Garten bot. Außerdem waren wir von hier aus recht schnell am Strand, am Angelplatz, im Reitstall und im Oldenburger Wallmuseum. Selbst zu Winnetou war es nicht weit. Wir kommen gern wieder an diesen Sehnsuchtsort.”

    “Eine absolute Empfehlung für jeden, der einen entschleunigten Urlaub in idyllischer Umgebung verbringen möchte. Wir waren mit 5 Erwachsenen, 2 Kindern und einem Hund zu Gast und haben es sehr genossen. Vor allen Dingen die Alleinlage und die zwei weitläufigen Gärten haben dafür gesorgt, dass der Urlaub in jeglicher Hinsicht ungestört war. Wir konnten morgens Fasane und abends eine Eule beobachten. Der Hund hatte jede Menge Auslauf und für Spiele war rund ums Haus mehr als ausreichend Platz. Bei extremer Hitze haben wir uns in die angenehme Kühle des riedgedeckten Backsteinhauses geflüchtet. Der Strand von Dahme ist mit Fahrrad oder Auto locker zu erreichen. Besonders schön war der persönliche Kontakt zum sehr freundlichen Vermieter, der für alle Fragen jederzeit zur Verfügung steht und wertvolle Tipps für Unternehmungen vor Ort gibt - wenn man das möchte. Positiv: Alleinlage, sehr viel Platz, ruhige Umgebung Negativ: Die Küche bietet zum Kochen für eine große Gruppe etwas wenig Platz, geht aber. Restaurant: AKROPOLIS 2 - Sehr guter griechisches Restaurant, sehr große Portionen Ausflüge: Strand von Kellenhusen - Kleiner Badeort, besonders geeignet für Wassersportler”
