Holiday house at Lake Balaton, with a balcony, terrace and garden

The holiday house is on the northern shore of Lake Balaton between the spa town Balatonfüred (ca. 10km) and Balatonalmádi 8ca. 10km) in Alsóörs. It enjoys a sunny, south-facing location on a quiet estate characterised by single-family houses and holiday houses.

The house of around 70m² has a living and dining room on the ground floor with satellite TV, a little kitchen, a bedroom with a French bed and a bathroom with a shower and WC. The upper floor has a large bedroom with a double bed, a sofa and access to an 8m² balcony, a smaller bedroom with two single beds, and a WC. The house is for your own exclusive use. It is made of brick. The interior meets the typical local standards. The kitchen is equipped with a stove, oven, coffee machine, microwave, kettle and toaster.

Towards the south side there is a cosy terrace (ca. 12m²) with terrace furniture and a grill. The lawn is suitable for children and two garden loungers are provided. The site measures around 700m² and is fenced. Two cars can be parked on site.

The lakeshore is 300 metres to the south of the house, but is not accessible at that point. The large, well-maintained, child-friendly swimming beach with trees is about 1km away. There are a grocery shop and fruit stalls near the beach. It is about 200 metres from the house to a bus stop, with busses to the beach and to the regional town Veszprém.

A little further to the north there are vineyards, inviting you to go on trips and walks. Veszprém (ca. 20km), a beautiful regional town with a castle district, was the seat of the Hungarian queens in the Middle Ages. Today the castle houses the bishop’s residence. The capital Budapest is also within easy access by car, bus and train (ca.120km).

    “Ubytování je v patrové chatě s terasou a menší zahradou v klidné ulici na konci chatové oblasti. Zařízení je starší a jednoduché, ale vše je čisté a příjemné. Tři menší ložnice pro nás (2 dospělí a 4 větší děti) byly vyhovující. Malá kuchyňka je dobře vybavená, jen chybí větší hrnec. Jediné mínus byl chybějící plot na stranách zahrady, takže náš pes občas navštívil sousedy. Pro 6 osob a psa je to dobré bydlení za nízkou cenu.

    Naše chata byla na kopci na konci obce Alsoors v klidné příjemné chatové oblasti. Na pláž jsme to měli pěšky cca 1 km, ale v Alsoors, Czopak i v Balatonfured byly pláže přelidněné, takže jsme si našli menší pláž na Tihany a jezdili tam autem. A stálo to za to.”

    “Ausstattung entspricht der Beschreibung: sehr einfach, aber sauber. Grundstück ist nur vorn und hinten umzäunt. Ford Focus passte knapp durch die Einfahrt. Vermieter sehr nett. Waren bei Kurzschluss sofort ansprechbar und bemüht.”

    “Das Grundstück ist seitlich zu den benachbarten Ferienhäusern mit Hecken abgegrenzt.
    Die Einfahrt zum Grundstück hat eine lichte Breite von 2,42 m.
    Es gab keinen haustechnisch bedingten Kurzschluss, sondern einen gewitterbedingten Stromausfall, der die ganze Gemeinde betraf.”
