Modern holiday house with two kitchens and a veranda, with a view of the sea, surrounded by a Mediterranean garden with olive trees

The holiday house is just a stone’s throw from the beach at Tarsanas. It is surrounded by a beautiful garden with olive trees.

The holiday house is spread over two floors and can accommodate up to seven people. The ground floor has an open living room with a modern kitchen, a bedroom with two single beds and a modern bathroom with a shower and toilet. The upper floor also has a living room facing west with a three-seater and two-seater sofa, a fireplace and a flatscreen TV. One of the two sofas can be converted into a sofa bed for one person. The upper floor also has a dining room and a second kitchen with modern appliances, along with a bedroom with a double bed (200 x 200cm), two bedrooms each with a single bed, and two modern bathrooms each with a shower and a toilet. All the single beds measure 100 x 200cm.

The ground floor provides direct access to the garden with olive, linden and lemon trees and Mediterranean plants. There is a sitting corner under the linden trees, where you can enjoy dining together or an aperitif. The garden also provides plenty of space for sunbathing on the loungers provided. Those staying in the single bedroom on the upper floor can enjoy access to a balcony. There is also a big veranda with a view of the sea, with a dining table for eight people. There is a private parking space opposite the holiday house.

The holiday house is ideal for an unforgettable holiday with friends or family, as well as for a quiet and romantic holiday for two. All the bedrooms and the two living rooms have air conditioning. A cot can be provided on request. Internet access is available. The house is cleaned twice a week. Towels and bed linen are changed twice a week. A variety of pillows, bathrobes, and hand, bath and beach towels are provided.

Tarsanas is a little village by the sea, about 12km from Chania. There is a typical Cretan taverna near the holiday house. In the village of Chorafakia about a ten-minute walk away you can find two small supermarkets and some little restaurants. Kounoupidiana, 6km away, is the next largest town, where you can find banks, pharmacies, doctors, big supermarkets and an array of local shops. Tarsanas offers a fine sandy beach with crystal clear water. There are other lovely beaches in Kalathas, Maxerikda and Seitan Limania.

    “Das Haus ist wunderschön, sehr gut ausgestattet und die Lage ist super; direkt an der Bucht und etwas abgelegen auf einem kleinen Hügel. Allerdings ist für den Preis etwas mehr Sauberkeit zu erwarten, wobei auch keine groben Verschmutzungen vorlagen. Vor allem abends kommt es vor, dass Flugzeuge oder Jets vom NATO-Stützpunkt über das Haus fliegen, was Lärm macht, der aber für mich erträglich ist. Alles in allem ist das Haus definitiv weiter zu empfehlen.”
